Welcome to At the Chapel, an all-day restaurant with in-house artisan bakery, wine store and eight gorgeous bedrooms in the heart of Bruton. Housed in a beautiful Grade II listed, town-centre building it incorporates an 18th century congregational chapel and a stunning, south-facing terrace.
Original features abound in our nine lovely rooms, with whitewashed walls and cool retro furniture. Marble bathrooms are large and luxurious with bathtubs big enough for two.
Our food is modern British with a Mediterranean twist. We love to feature lots of West Country produce in our seasonal dishes. With all day service and menus that are a mix of contemporary small plates and relaxed mains, our bar and restaurant have something for everyone. Pizzas made with a sourdough base, loaded with toppings, and baked in a huge wood-fired oven are legendary. Enjoy inside or on the al fresco terrace.
A beautiful, contemporary restaurant and rooms…while proudly showing off all of its original features…think full height church windows by your bed.
The pretty town of Bruton sits alongside the River Brue, surrounded by rolling countryside and is well known for its art galleries, independent boutiques and vintage shops – there is plenty to see and do.
