Dog friendly!

Dogs Welcome!

Travelling with your pooch? Then stay with us for the perfect dog-friendly break! At The Chapel welcomes muddy paws, and our four-legged friends are welcome up in the gallery, in the clubroom and terrace and bedrooms 7 & 8.

Our full restaurant menu is available in the gallery, clubroom and outside areas (April – Oct), so you can tuck into our trademark delicious West Country food with your dog happily at your side. Pampered pooches staying overnight get their very own goody bag.

Bruton is a very pretty town town, and there are lots of great local walks on the doorstep to get tails wagging.

There is a £15 supplement per stay for dogs.

Arrival and departure

Check in is from 3pm but it’s always possible the room will be available earlier, so please call us and check. Departure is from 11am although we are happy to leave it until later if there are no incoming guests for the room.

Please note that the hotel does not operate a 24 reception desk, so if you plan to arrive after 10pm please call the hotel in advance so they can arrange access.

Bruton has on street parking and At the Chapel has its own small car park for residents only, directions to which are shown on the map on the Find Us page. There are also free car parks nearby, which the team can direct you to if you park on street when you arrive.

Extra beds can be accommodated in the largest rooms only for children up to 12 years of age at a cost of £20. These must be requested in advance through the hotel because there is a limited number available.

Cots are available for children up to 2 years of age free of charge. The smaller rooms cannot accommodate a cot.

Dogs are welcome in rooms 7 & 8 only at a charge of £15 per dog per stay. However, if you are bringing a dog then they must not be left alone in the bedroom/bathroom at any time unless they are in a secure crate. Your dog can accompany you to the club room and terrace, where we serve our full restaurant menu, but are not allowed in the main restaurant. Any damage caused to the paintwork or furnishings by a dog left unaccompanied will be chargeable.
