The cool, minimalist décor of the main building is reflected in the peaceful and spacious bedrooms which feature crisp linens, soft leather chairs, and light wooden furniture. All rooms have a king-size bed, Egyptian cotton bedlinen, large HD Smart TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, Roberts dab radios, mini bars, water, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, safe, and free Wi-Fi.

Information

Arrival and departure

Check in is from 3pm but it’s always possible the room will be available earlier, so please call us and check. Departure is from 11am although we are happy to leave it until later if there are no incoming guests for the room.

Please note that the hotel does not operate a 24 reception desk, so if you plan to arrive after 10pm please call the hotel in advance so they can arrange access.

Parking

Bruton has on street parking and At the Chapel has its own small car park for residents only, directions to which are shown on the map on the Find Us page. There are also free car parks nearby, which the team can direct you to if you park on street when you arrive.

Children

Extra beds can be accommodated in the largest rooms only for children up to 12 years of age at a cost of £20. These must be requested in advance through the hotel because there is a limited number available.

Cots are available for children up to 2 years of age free of charge. The smaller rooms cannot accommodate a cot.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in rooms 7 & 8 only at a charge of £15 per dog per stay. However, if you are bringing a dog then they must not be left alone in the bedroom/bathroom at any time unless they are in a secure crate. Your dog can accompany you to the club room and terrace, where we serve our full restaurant menu, but are not allowed in the main restaurant. Any damage caused to the paintwork or furnishings by a dog left unaccompanied will be chargeable.

Cancellation T&Cs

Any Advanced Purchase Early Booker rates must be pre-paid in full at the time of the booking and are non-refundable and non-transferable. For all other bookings we ask that they are cancelled or amended before midnight 7 full days prior to arrival date to avoid a penalty charge of the full stay. Payment for the stay will be taken 7 full days before arrival date.

We ask that bookings of 3 or more rooms are cancelled or amended 14 days prior to arrival date to avoid cancellation charges.

Please note we do not pay commission to 3rd party agents who book direct with the hotel and/or with whom there is no signed, written contract.

Payments

Card details are required to secure the booking and your card will be charged the full amount 7 full days prior to arrival, in line with the cancellation policy.

Accessibility

There is a step-up up to the building for which a ramp is available. The ground floor of the hotel is accessible in a wheelchair and there is a disabled toilet. None of our bedrooms are adapted for wheelchair access.
